Well, I finally got this blog started, but a little late for current events that I wanted to discuss, so I am going back in time a couple weeks because I can't resist commenting on Presidential hopeful Barack Obama's stupid idea of unilateral talks directly with a rogue state, and the #1 exporter of terror in the world today.

Yeah I know he backed off a bit by claiming there would be nebulous pre-conditions, but I am not buying that crap.  Barack has an artful international strategy - embrace those who hate our guts, and try to piss off as many of our allies as he can at the same time.  Brilliantly stupid.

Obama claims President's Bush's Iran policy is a failure because Bush hasn't been able to convince the terror state to give up on it's gambit to acquire the ultimate terror weapon - nukes.  Only problem there is that Bush's attempts to get Iran to abandon it's nuclear ambitions have been blocked by Russia and China, and whether Bush sat down and had a nice chat with the mental midget Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or not isn't going to change the fact that Iran is basking under the shield our enemies are affording them.  Yeah that's right, Russia and China are no friends of the United States - what a revelation!  If only Bush would come down from on high and have a nice cup of Iranian tea with the murderous jackals that run Iran, all would be made right.  If Bush won't do it, Obama will.

Which is precisely why we, the people must prevent this naive neophyte from getting into the highest office in the land.

Obama thinks his stupid policy of direct mano a mano engagement will get the Iranians to see the light, cease nuclear weapons development, stop killing American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, and cease supporting anti-Israeli terror groups.  Sure they will.  Obama is just so suave, charismatic, persuasive, clever, handsome, and "ingenious" that of course the Iranians will give him 2 pecks on each cheek. and all will be made right.  Sure it will.  Modern technology being what it is, pigs will fly any day now.

No, the reality is that Obama will trek to Iran, bring gobs and gobs of international prestige to a bunch of vile creeps, and leave empty handed.  America will be humiliated, and Iran will be emboldened to do even more 'good' deeds in the region with impunity.  And with Obama as President - impunity it will be.

Up next to consider my dear friends, is what exactly will Obama say to the Iranians that they don't already know?  Do you think they don't watch CNN?  Fox News?  Do you think that the feeble sanctions slapped on them by the U.N. made the point?  Nah, the UN was just bored that day.

Do you think the Iranians know that we don't like the fact that they are arming, equipping, and training people with the express intent to kill American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan (and for all we know elsewhere)?  Hint:  they know.

Do you think the Iranians know that we don't like the fact that they are arming, equipping and training people with the express intent to kill as many Israelis as they can?  Hint:  they know.

The Iranians have already been offered all kinds of incentives to drop the nuke program.  It fell on deaf ears.

What, therefore, is Obama going to say that they have not heard already, via a multitude of channels?  What?

And yet millions of Americans buy this garbage, which is why we are...The Stupid Nation.
