Obama Plays The Race Card
Impatient for his Republican adversaries to step into an obvious and foolish trap, Obama did it for them. On June 19, while addressing a crowd of supporters in Jacksonville, Florida Obama declared the Republican destiny. According to Reuters news service, Obama said this: "They're going to try to make you afraid of me. He's young and
inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?"

What!? Obama is black? An African American?? SCANDAL!
Not.
The breaking news for Obama is that we already know his genetic background. The bad news for Obama is nobody cares. Well, the African-American community cares, and rightfully so, since Obama is the first Presidential nominee from this group, making the 2008 election an historic event, win, lose or (ahem) draw. Nobody else of consequence cares however.
Obama was close to the mark in this speech though. We care not that he's relatively young. We care not that he's got a funny name. We care not that he's black. We care very, very much that he has NO experience that would qualify him for the highest and most powerful office in this Country, and arguably the world.
It makes sense to us that Obama would try to distract the national audience from the real issues of today (and tomorrow) by playing the race card. Without a record to stand on, all he can do is try to distract people from focusing on the hard fact that Obama is unqualified to be President of the United States. He's not unqualified because he's young. He's not unqualified because he has a funny name (Jimmy Carter is a funnier name for a President), and he's not unqualified because he's black. He is unqualified because Barack Obama's experience in the area of National Politics and policy making, and International Politics and policy making is so thread-bare that it would barely make a good paragraph on a resume.
That's the problem.
Still convinced we are dodging the race card? We know of another black man with qualifications to be President of the United States. A statesman and warrior both. Colin Powell. TheStupidNation.com would throw our full support for that highly qualified black man in a heartbeat.
But not for a neophyte.
And certainly not for a neophyte who advocated a policy course for Iraq that would have lead to catastrophe as certainly as two trains colliding head-on. Not for a neophyte who throws around the word "change" and then dresses-up a tired left wing liberal dogma that has been rejected by the American People before. No, all Obama is doing when he talks of "change" is dropping the second word in the Democratic agenda "change back".
Obama can't talk the talk or walk the walk, while John McCain can (as well as Colin Powell).
We will close with this: Many have compared Obama's political trajectory to that of President John F. Kennedy. We would like to remind our readers that President Kennedy brought to us the Bay of Pigs disaster, the Vietnam War, and most importantly, came within a hair trigger of getting us into doomsday all out thermonuclear war. And the frightening part is that Kennedy had more experience than Obama. Sleep well at night with Obama as President we will not.
We don't need another neophyte in high office.
