Obamarama
A recent news piece by Reuters, Obama was quoted as saying he was "puzzled" by the media "frenzy" regarding his comments about "refining" his time-table for abandoning Iraq.

Puzzled? The candidate that built his Presidential bid on the bedrock that 'hey, hey, ho, ho, our troops have gotta go' wonders why the liberal media and loon anti-war/anti-American liberals threw a fit after Obama hinted he might let the troops stay longer to actually finish the job rather than be forced to tuck their tails between their legs with mission ultimately not accomplished? Puzzled? Surprised? Perhaps Obama could use a few pointers on the liberal press from President Bush.
Obama says that once elected President, he will summon the Joint Chiefs and deliver unto them a new mission... "I will call my joint chiefs of staff in and give them a new assignment and that is to end the war."
New assignment? Once again we have bad news for The Ignorant Candidate - finishing the job in Iraq - hence 'ending the war' is already the Joint Chiefs mission. Does the naive candidate actually think that President Bush's mandate to the US Military was to prolong the war as much as possible? Bush prolonged the war alright, but not because he ordered the military to drag it out - as we stated earlier, Bush prolonged the war by letting his war cabinet bicker, argue, and spend their time urinating on the borders of their turf rather than collaborating to solve the problems in Iraq. After he finally put a stop to it, things began to slowly improve. And they continue to improve to this day.
By far the best in depth analysis of the War in Iraq we've seen was done by PBS Frontline titled "Bush's War" and aired on March 24/25 of this year. What will no doubt go down in history as one of the great ironies of the military campaign in Iraq, the Bush Administration was so eager to get the hell out of the country that they made a series of incredibly dumb decisions that badly backfired into a post-combat fiasco that kept America in theater much longer than might have been necessary had the right people been making the right decisions at the right time.
Whether The Stupid Nation likes it or not, The United States of America is now responsible for the fate of the people of Iraq. We took them on as dependents when we overthrew their bloodthirsty leadership, and fired their Government, and their military. To now abandon these people to an extremist fate would go against everything the United States has stood for up until now. We did not liberate a people from a brutal tyrant only to hand them over to religious extremist fascist captivity. Think, Stupid America - think.
These same liberals who so very badly want to precipitate a catastrophe for both the United States, and the people of Iraq, are the same ones who would howl in shock and horror if a foster parent turned one of their charges out into the dark of night. Yet this is exactly what they advocate the United States to do with their current charges - the people of Iraq. The very notion of throwing these people away like so much human refuse is so despicable to us that there are not enough vile epithets in the English language to convey our utter condemnation of this sick and twisted policy.
Shame on you Obama. Shame on you, and all who follow you into that dark, hideously ugly, dishonorable place. To abandon a people for whom we are now responsible is a vile, dishonorable, disgraceful, despicable thing to do. If it happens, America will have forfeit it's soul.
That's what your going to get from President Obama, the guy that refused to wear the American Flag on his lapel, the guy whose darling wife had nothing to be proud of her entire adult life before her husband's candidacy.
We will oppose you every step of the way.
