Senator Joe Lieberman speaks out against Obama

We were reminded this evening of the fact that the inmate loons have taken over the Democratic Asylum.

In a CNN web article, independent Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut was opining on Barak Obama's Policy of Failure for Iraq.  Lieberman correctly observed that had Congress and the President followed Obama's sage advice, Obama could not possibly have a nice Iraq visit.  Under Obama's proposed arbitrary silly withdrawal schedule (the 1st draft was immediate withdrawal, then revised to 16 months), there would be no US boots on the ground by now, and the country would either be in the throws of all out civil war, or already subjugated by  Al-Qaeda, the Iranians, and God knows who else.

Lieberman was quoted by CNN as saying Obama "was prepared to accept retreat and defeat."

TheStupidNation.com takes this one step further, and we believe more accurately: Obama wants America to be defeated in Iraq.  Just as with his loon far left handlers - intentionally precipitating defeat was the very basis for advocating immediate withdrawal in the first place.  The twisted logic goes like this:  George Bush got the US into an "unjust" war, therefore America deserves to lose that war.  And the Democratic Party set about to do just that - lose the war on our behalf.  The Democrat propagandists - and that's what they are: propagandists - are claiming that now the White House, and Iraq are "coming around" to Obama's point of view.

We take strong exception to the deception

Obama advocated at first an immediate pullout, and then a 16 month pull out proposed in the form of actionable legislation in January of 2007.  That means we would have been gone in March of '08 as Iraq crumbled around us.    No one is "coming around" to Obama's point of view.  That is a big lie that would have made even infamous Dr. Joseph Goebbels smile.  We have already withdrawn all five 'surge' combat brigades - approximately 30,000 troops starting in December of last year, after a successful mission that Barak Obama opposed, and assured us would fail.  Newsflash - it succeeded.  The troops levels are determined, and have been determined (since Rumsfeld was fired) by conditions on the ground, and not by ridiculous arbitrary time-tables.

Trust us Stupid America - had the United States caved to the America self-hating loon left, and adopted Obama's Plan for Failure back in January 2007, when Obama first introduced it,  Iraq would have completely disintegrated.   Wholesale slaughter, if not genocide, would have made the violence in Iraq up till now look like an afternoon tea social.  But, as we have said repeatedly in other posts, the resulting bloodbath would not have been the Democrats fault - oh no, their abandonment of the people of Iraq would have been blamed on the Republicans.  It's all George Bush's fault...they would say.  And ever so sadly, there are far too many morons here at home who would buy it.

We recall that Senator Lieberman's support for the war in Iraq, and his steadfast opposition to adopting the Party of Failure course cost him his membership in said Party.  Lieberman was right, so the inmates kicked him out.  How ironic that the Party bosses, and the money men behind the bosses like George Soros, can't tolerate dissension in the ranks - that used to be a hallmark of the Democrats.  Now, if you rub the loon left the wrong way, they will turn their very deep pockets against you.   Certainly Obama has recently demonstrated that he is scared of the loon left.  As well he should be, but for all the wrong reasons.

The Stupid Nation aught to get it's head out from where nature prescribes it does not belong - especially the  'presumptive' Democratic Party nominee.
