Al Gore, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and all the liberal wackos who think we can maintain status as an economic and military superpower by reverting back to horse drawn buggies and pedal power should pause and consider these words from a very smart man:

Civilization must wither when human beings are so degraded....High-energy consumption has always been a prerequisite of political power. The tendency is for political power to be concentrated in an ever-smaller number of countries. Ultimately, the nation which controls the largest energy resources will become dominant."
