McCain has it exactly wrong - YOU should be afraid of Barack Obama as President of the United States, and HE should be calling out Obama's heavy connections to his Marxist pals and his Marxist beliefs.

As noted in this below linked article by scholar/author Paul Kengor, the main reason people roll their eyes when they hear these accusations fly is because they don't understand what Marxism is, or what it represents.  This is especially true for younger college age adults.

As we stated in our "A Capital Idea" post, to which Mr Kengor would heartily agree, the graveyards of Europe and Asia are filled with the victims of this horrid system.  A nouveau Marxism is rising in the US - masked, sanitized, and in hiding, trying to fly just below the radar.   There is a reason  Obama's Acorn group is accused of widespread voter fraud.  There is a reason why the Democratic Party, formerly rabid champions of First Amendment absolutism, has grown intolerant of free speech.  There is a reason why Obama made an accidental, blatantly Marxist reference to clinging to guns and religion.

A stupid nation cannot sustain a democracy.  These people are counting on American ignorance.  We must resist.  We must educate, and defeat closet nouveau Marxists like Barack Obama.  And just remember this one sobering point from Mr Kengor's article:  While Fascism slaughtered millions based primarily on ethnicity, Marxists slaughtered tens of millions more based on class.

It is impossible to underestimate the danger.
