Senator Joe Biden is Senator Barack Obama's running mate, as you may know.  Recently, the good Senator, known for chronic foot-in-mouth disorder spoke about our enemies abroad testing the neophyte prospective President Obama shortly after he takes office:

"Mark my words," Biden said "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

Biden continued on a short while later, "And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."

Indeed, as we warned in our post The Obamalator On Qualifications and Experience, well before Biden emphasized our point: a neophyte President puts us all in greater danger.

In addition to that, we are cynically amused that Biden would call on Americans to support  the presumptive President as he makes decisions where it's going to look like Obama is wrong.   Right, we should support Obama in precisely the same manner as Obama and the rest of the Party of Failure supported President Bush - not at all - because they claimed Bush was wrong.  In fact, as we have also stated before, the Party of Failure did everything it could to undermine President Bush and act as the catalyst for failure.  So, we owe it to Obama to do the same thing.

The Stupid Nation blithely does not see it's peril, even when Obama's own running mate plants his foot firmly in his mouth, and admits we will be in greater peril with Obama than McCain.
