The Three Monkeys
That's the wind up - here is what upstages all other news: Obama issues a veiled threat to Republicans to ignore conservative talk-show he-devil Rush Limbaugh - or else. This tells us several things -
- Obama Democrats are paying more attention to Rush Limbaugh than the Republican Party. As Limbaugh himself proclaims, the Republican Party has been ignoring him for a long time.
- Obama Democrats are worried about what Rush Limbaugh is saying to the people who dare to open their minds and their ears to listen.
- This is the second high profile official to cite Limbaugh by name as a force of pseudo-evil in a world dominated by socialist media and the billionaires who control it. Colin Powell, an Obama backer, issued a similar call for Republicans to tune out Limbaugh in favor of the soothing subliminal messaged elevator muzak. We thought Limbaugh's response to Powell was a devastating rebuttal.
- Democrats, led by Obama, recognize Limbaugh as a threat. They are afraid of him.
This meeting where the veiled threat was issued forth by Lord Obama also revealed a smug, arrogant President. Here is the comment from the New York Post article, along with a naturally forgiving missive from the lefty "journalist" writing the story:
"In an exchange with Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) about the proposal, the president shot back: "I won," according to aides briefed on the meeting. "I will trump you on that."
Not that Obama was gloating. He was just explaining that he aims to
get his way on stimulus package and all other legislation, sources
said, noting his unrivaled one-party control of both congressional
chambers" (italics & underline added).
Isn't that nice. Obama was not gloating the propagandist reporter assures us - nah, wouldn't dream of it, right?
Of course he was gloating. Only the three monkeys, who we name "West Coast", "Mid-West" and "East Coast" are incapable of seeing the inconvenient truth.
In the meantime Nancy Pelosi re-iterates the democratic party intention to entirely exclude the Republicans from the legislative process. This stops just a wee short of formally declaring a one party system of government. That is effectively what the Democrats are saying, and even for a hear-no-evil nation, it's hard to ignore what a one party system is. Do YOU, dear reader, know what a one party system of government is?
Rush Limbaugh is right, the Republicans need to stand up, get loud, and fight. Being mealy mouthed whiners is not helping America.
