....With Liberty and Jobs For All

A crisis of confidence is looming larger and larger for President Obama.  The recent media blitzkrieg undertaken by Obama to try and leverage his star power to tip the balance back in his favor on socialist medicine is back-firing.  The reason it's back firing is that the more Obama speaks, the more the sleep-walking electorate are realizing that Obama is lost, and in a job that's way way over his Harvard educated head.  Remember - many Americans had no idea what Obama was about when the voted for him, and now many are slowly awakening to the blunder.

There will always be a percentage of die-hard fools that will lack the mental capacity to accept the fact that we now have one of the worst Presidents holding that high office since the office was invented.  There may still be some wiggle room to argue it was Jimmy Carter or Warren G. Harding or James Buchanan, but move over boys, you've got company, and it's Barack Obama.

Today we visited the Rush Limbaugh website to see what Rush has been talking about these last few days.  On prominent display was a particularly pathetic quote from our President, as follows:

"We're putting Americans back to work doing the work that America needs done:Rebuilding roads, bridges, uh, and new schools, and all manner ofconstruction projects across all 50 states.  I'm not going to rest. Iknow the governors and candidates here are not going to rest, and I know that the American people are not going to rest until everybodywho's looking for work can find a job."

It bears repeating: "until everybody who's looking for work can find a job."

First of all, the only societies that technically can claim 100% employment are communist societies.  And as we just mentioned in our previous post, with tens of millions dead as a result of that socio-economic abomination, only the incredibly stupid and the incredibly power hungry lust for such a system.  Communism is not an abstract, and everywhere there is or was communism, there is absolute centralized power enslaving it's half starved and destitute 100% employed population.

Second, there are plenty of American people currently 'resting'.  And the problem with Marxist Socialist dogma is that there are built in incentives to not work at all.  So, from a certain point of view, Obama's not resting until everybody who is looking for work finds a job is actually stand-up comedy.  The hypothetical execution of Obama's policies would leave virtually no one left who is actually looking for work.  And while that might make for great press to declare the three people remaining in the 'traditional' workforce are fully employed, it would more correctly be a requiem for the United States.  Founded by brave men at the risk of their lives and their treasure to breathe free, and destroyed by narcissistic cowards would shouldn't even be left alone to manage a child's lemonade stand.

So, when President Obama steps up to the podium and says something like this that is so incredibly naive, dumb, and unachievable, people all over the country sink their heads in their hands and say to themselves - 'My God, what have we done?'

America is in trouble.  And Americans look toward Washington for wise policy, charismatic inspirational leadership, and hope for a future promising to be brighter still than what we have now.  Instead, we have grossly negligent fiscal policy that seems geared to destroying what was once the greatest of great nations, and a pointedly un-inspiring President who we find ourselves wishing he would help the nation best by just shutting up.

As we look backward into American antiquity, we duly note that in each major crisis the nation faced in the past was weathered by a courageous and inspirational leader that happened to be in the right place, at the right time to energize a nation towards single purpose.  Today we look toward Washington, and wonder, who will that person be, and when will he or she arrive?

Our need is great, maybe even dire, our danger is greater still, and we have no one to turn to.

No one.
