On Kagan And The US Supreme Court

I haven't said much about the nomination of Elena Kagan to the US Supreme Court because really I don't think there is much need to discuss anything.  The Cliff Notes version is this:  Kagan is a leftist liberal who thinks the value of toilet paper is higher than the words contained on the parchment used to compose the Constitution of the United States.  Left to her own devices, Kagan could no doubt find better use for that parchment.

To be a liberal legal mind is to believe that the Constitution is plastic, and can be molded however liberals see fit, which makes the words contained therein utterly worthless.  Enough said.

Conservatives should filibuster this liberal nominee.    The only way to save our democracy from what has become a  leftist liberal malignancy is to fight for it, and that means taking a stand against Kagan.  Conservatives should not roll over on this nominee.  If they go down, they should go down swinging:  Filibuster.

Changing subjects.....it is a very sad truth that often times the lowest common denominator among politicians is stupidity.  Republican Michael Steele reaffirms this for me.  To be sure, the current sad state of affairs in Afghanistan can be significantly attributed to bad decisions by Obama and his Administration.  However, to play the same 'the war is lost' game the democrats played during the Iraq war is bald-assed stupid, and just as indefensibly wrong as when Harry Reid was declaring game-over in Iraq.  Both Steele and Reid tacitly provide aide and comfort to our enemies with this kind of crap.   We agree that the Republican Party would be better served if someone with at least half a brain were in the RNC Chairmanship spot.   Steele should go - the sooner the better.
