Obama Family OK With One Term, So Is America
In the news on most major 'lamestream' media websites is a quote from Obama saying his family is just fine and hunky dorey with only 1 term as President. Aren't we all relieved?
We should be.
Most polls show Obama's job approval rating curiously detached from the reality of where we stand as a nation. He would not be the first to enjoy popularity while everyone and every institution in Washington has their numbers in the toilet. President Ronald Reagan was famously nicknamed the Teflon President after scandals, and the issues of the day, rarely seemed to impact his Nielsen ratings - oh I mean poll numbers. However, this go-around, I don't think Obama is the Teflon President 2.0.
In Obama's case I think the poll numbers are flatly wrong. Of course, I am crystal balling here, but my sense is that people,, even when assured of their anonymity in poll taking, simply don't want to admit they know Obama is a walking, talking, train-wreck. Someone I know recently suggested that Obama's high poll numbers were the result of people refusing to admit the were snookered by a slick campaign full of slogans, and absolutely no substance. A modern day music man. If that's the case, then in the privacy of the voting booth is where these snookered masses are going to ultimately admit they've all been had.
Unless there is a genuine "unexpected" economic turn-around of significance - one that can be genuinely felt by the unemployed Corporate wretched refuse - Obama is going to lose, and he is going to lose big. Afterall, for America to climb out of this huge hole we are in, the leftist from Illinois must fail.
As for the other shoe...of all the "conservative" shoes in the race....God, please not RINO Romney!
We should be.
