Mental Health "Pros" are Insane
At first I really thought this article on the Daily Caller website was some sort of sick joke.
Apparently, it's not.
There is no formula for twisted moral equivalency here that I would find remotely acceptable. The so-called doctors who advocate acceptance of child predation should be stripped of their credentials and sent on their way.
Ann Coulter wrote a blog piece not too long ago in which she talked about the left's vexation with a legal system that favors the victim over the perpetrator, saying the Left favors those perceived as weak over the powerful, and further observes that "social justice is the only justice that interests the Left" - meaning that if a child preditor falls into a 'social justice' challenged class, the rights of the predator should supercede those of the victem. There are similarities here in the rationalization that child predator taboos should be lifted while De-emphasizing the terrible harm done to the victim of this horrible crime.
Of course, it's impossible to know if this lunatic fringe in the mental health profession are all leftists or not, but I guess that is ultimately irrelevant. The bottom line here is that it is only natural to wonder about mental health "professionals" who are little too passionate about 'normalizing' pedophilia in our society....as in, they are either pedophilia wish-they-could-be's, or much worse.
Whatever their underlying motivations, my layman's diagnosis is that these advocates are really sick and twisted cretins.
